Can I become an Income Tax Officer after studying a Bachelor's degree in Engineering?
I have recently completed my Bachelor's in Engineering degree course. Can I apply for the post of Income Tax Officer? Is there any entrance for which I can prepare and write to crack?

You are eligible for recruitment as an I.R.S Officer after qualifying in Civil Service Examination.
The examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in three stages. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. For syllabus and examination pattern visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |
