Hi friends, I would like to know that I can become a Nurse or not as I am studying in 12th standard with Commerce stream. I am interested to become a Nurse but I have chosen Commerce. So, can I become Nurse or not?

Nursing is generally consider to be a professional course meant for science stream Biology group students.But there are nursing courses available in India, which be pursued after completing 12th with arts or commerce stream.
After completing your 12th with Arts and Commerce stream you are eligible to apply for ANM or GNM Nursing courses.

There are various undergraduate nursing programs to join after 12th standard.
These are:

NURSING PROGRAMS DURATION
1) Auxiliary Nurse & Midwifery (ANM) 2 years
2) General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) 3 years
3) B.Sc (Basic) 4 years
4) B.Sc (Post Basic) Regular: 2 years
Distance: 3 years

For getting admission to all these courses, a candidate must have completed 10+2 in
science stream.

As you are an student of commerce in your intermediate you won't be able to get admission in nursing programs.

In order to become a nurse being a 12th commerce student, you have to pursue General and midwifery 3 and half years diploma course from a recognised University.
Admission is generally based on the percentage obtained by the candidate in class 12th.

Yes, you can do nursing after 12th commerce.

Eligibility criteria:-
The candidate should have passed 12th in science stream with Biology as a main subjects.

Age limit is 17 years to 25 years.

Being a Commerce student you are eligible to become a Nurse but you have to pursue GNM course.
GNM is a 3 years diploma course and admission is mainly done on the basis of percentage in 10 + 2

Preference is given to students who have completed their 10+2 with PCB stream.
