Hi Sir, I have secured admission in BCA(H) course in this year. I wanted to study BE, but due to some issue, I had to secure admission for BCA(H) course. I want to become a Software Developer. So, I just want to know that through this course, I can become a Software Developer?

Yes, you can become Software Developer after completing BCA(H) course.

To get job in MNC or mid-scale development companies, you must have knowledge of anyone of the following programming languages like:

• HTML + CSS + Javascript + JQuery
• HTML + CSS + AngularJS
• PHP + HTML + CSS
• Python
• Angular JS
• Asp.Net
• Java
• Node JS
• React JS, etc.

There are many other programming langauges that are not mentioend above. However, if you have knowledge of anyone of the above combination, then you can get job easily in Software development company.

as you have a BCA qualification, you are eligible to pursue only MCAcourse. The MCA course is normally considered equivalent to the BTech course in the software field. You will have better job opportunities on completion of the MCA course. And after MCA course you can work as software developer in company.

If one wants to work in MNC company then the candidate must have scored 60% or above in 12th and graduation. There are number of MNC companies in our country hence the eligibility criteria for each MNC company varies.

However, a General eligibility criteria for selection in MNC company is given below:

Candidate must have minimum 60% marks in 10th standard.
Candidate must have minimum 60% marks in 12th standard and also in graduation.
No backlog will be allowed during his study.
More than 1 year gap in studies will not be allowed.
Candidates with experience are given preference.

While applying for a job in MNC company the candidate has to go through self introduction, general aptitude test, general discussion, writing skills, knowledge test, technical subject test, HR interview.
