Dear Aspirant,

Technically that is impossible to shift to other branch in final year.

We have certain rules in BE/BTech so you cannot shift like that in the last moment.

But you can have this chance in one time.It can be possible when you are in the First year of engineering.

Factors for getting in to other branch:

1.First the college should have that facility to change the course.

2.You should get the highest marks in the whole college to change your course.

3.The vacancy should be their to fill your seat in other branch.

So it is possible only if you have the above following factors with you.

So you cannot change your course in the final year so am sorry to tell you that you cannot change your branch in the final year.
