If i prepare for IIT can i still be able to clear AIEEE?

Yes man you can ofcourse crack AIEEE by just preparing for IIT JEE. Infact you can crack any entrance exam in India just by preparing for IIT JEE

The reason is simple. IIT JEE is considered to be one of the toughest exams in the world and is the toughest in India. So no doubt it will cover the syllabus and the difficulty level of all the exams.

After you prepare for IIT JEE you will find that you are easily able to solve AIEEE problems with ease and speed.

Thats because you have already gained the proficiency of that AIEEE level

Yes its true that if you prepare for IIT JEE you can crack any exam. But if you prepare just for AIEEE dont think that you will be able to crack IIT JEE easily. For IIT JEE different type of preparation is needed which I guess you will soon learn about it

Yes, if you preparing for IIT-JEE you will definately crack AIEEE if you prepare well, because as we know JEE is toughest exam of engineering so AIEEE is not big task ....

yes of course you can crack aieee or any other state level exam because pattern of all exam is objective only and iit is roughest exam so it will cover all types of objective and while preparing for jee your concepts for each topic will be cleared . while in previous years it was not true because previously iit was subjective whereas other exam was objective .

AIEEE is considered abit easy as compared to IIT .although syllabus are same for both .so if you are prepairing for IIT ,then you are also prepairing for AIEEE. but reverse is not true as IIT-JEE is the toughest entrance exam in india which is conducted for entry to IITs. good luck

Yes of course since the syllabus for the IIT JEE and AIEEE are almost same therefore you can even go through AIEEE by just preparing for IIT.But comparitively IIT consists more of the subject part than AIEEE.

You can even go through many of the exams like VITEEE/SRM University/Gitam University and other such exams conducted by Universities approved by UGC.

as you know syllabus of every common entrance exam is same like any local set iit jee and aieee

but the reason to worry is the approach of question paper is far different in all the exams like in iit jee we will not find many questions but the potential of the question will be in high level but of aieee question will look simple and have many no. to solve in the same 3 hours in all the exams

coming to your question if you're specially preparing for iit jee then your goal should be purely on it you can attempt aieee very good only if you can practice more no. of aieee previous year questions you should purely understand the pattern and the mind of paper setters of both the exams

iit jee is the toughest exam in india for intermediate level..........
in iit jee three parts (maths,physics,chemistry) are same level......
if u r preparing iit jee seriously then aiee is very easy.......
if u r from andhra pradesh u can easily solve mathematics paper in aieee.
mathematics is very easy in aieee compare to iit jee.
i think that u can crack aieee easily by studying for iit jee.
aieee has some extra syllabus in chemistry......that is not a problem
so u can easily crack aieee by preparing iit-jee

yes,you can crack AIEEE by studying for IIT-jee but I want toknow weather you are studying in +2 or completed +2.
1)if you are in +2
then it will be better to concentrate on the NCERT book and don't leave a single topic.further you may need to study some additional topic for IIT-JEE but you concentrate on NCERT .it will help to crack the both IITJEE and AIEEE.

The thing is how you you study?Try to grasp the concept not just remembering.Generally in IITJEE concept based questions are asked but in AIEEE generally simple aplication of formula based questions are asked..hence both the exam are different..but once you grasp your concept,it becomes easy to qualify these exams.for further information,please mail on my id [email protected]

Yes, if you will prepare thoroughly for IIT JEE you would be able to clear AIEEE.

But to be on the safer side, study the whole syllabus of AIEEE. If it seems difficult for you, then do 1 thing. Compare the syllabus of JEE with AIEEE. Mark the topics which are mentioned in the syllabus of AIEEE but is not included in the syllabus of JEE.

Then study only those marked topics. In this way you will prepare for AIEEE in a better way.

This is a very nice question. Usually I find most of the new Intermediate/ 10th Pass students asking this..

I will make it very clear for all of those.

IITJEE syllabus is a subject oriented as well as vast. It covers every topic right from LKG to under UG.
So generally students acquire a good knowledge in this programme which makes them eligible to
perform good in all competitive exams at this level. (You may once refer the IITJEE Syllabus to understand this)

Coming to your Query
There is no doubt that you will do good in AIEEE/BITSAT/CET exams while preparing only for IITJEE.

But there is a small disadvantage with this idea!!

You will have the best knowledge to write all these competitive exams but...
When it comes to mathematics, you will lack practice which you will never do while preparing for IIT. You will be taught
and scheduled only to learn the topics in maths which is ample for excelling in IIT (but not AIEEE/BITSAT/any other CET)

Basically, AIEEE is based more on practice than knowledge. Also it has very less syllabus (similar to Intermediate or 12th).
The questions asked in AIEEE exam can no doubt be solved by you but it takes time.. and you will have many questions like
that in the rest of the paper and you cant waste 5 or 7 mins per problem. If you do, you will lose time, questions to answer,
marks & finally rank.

If you have practice, you can answer them by simple techniques that you observe while classroom practice.

So what i suggest is be confined to any one specific exam.. Prepare and excel for the same exam. No matter it be IIT ar AIEEE. But achieve it!

ofcourse you can clear AIEEE by the preparation for IIT JEE..

The syllabus of IIT JEE covers all the subjects in complete detail, that you would not have even studied for your 12th exam aslo....

Minimum one year preparation is required, with full concentration for getting best results in IIT JEE...

Considering the syllabus and comparing with IIT JEE, AIEEE is just around 60% of the whole syllabus....

But the way of preparation needed for IIT JEE is entirely different than any other normal entrance exams....

So if you are in the intention of preparing for IIT JEE start preparing by this minute itself no matter how more years are there for you to take.....

Yes it goes the same way as the moderator has answered ,but please do take care of few portions in every subject like PCM which are not part of JEE syllabus
but are included in AIEEE syllabus .
For getting good rank in AIEEE you may do the following things in addition to your JEE preparation :
1.Go through the extra syllabus of AIEEE
2.Please solve at least previous years AIEEE papers
3.If time permits please solve last 5 years test papers of Career Point,Kota(One of the Best Coaching Institute for AIEEE)
I did the above three things and I managed to get AIR-1156 in AIEEE!!
Please concentrate on Speed and AccuracyOften JEE students lags speed as was the case with me !!!

I do agree with Ramakant, don't worry about your AIEEE just focus on IIT JEE. However, one thing I would like to say that if you really want to crack IIT JEE then prepare smartly. if you have prepared well for IIT-JEE then 90% of AIEEE portion is completed.........the remaining 10% is the extra topics which are included in aieee but not in iit.......so get the list of that topics from the aieee brochure and get prepared.....practice the model question papers and previous year papers.........

Yes of course there is a bright opportunity for you for preparing for both while studying only for IITJEE.

As the syllabus of IITJEE and AIEEE are almost 90% same.

IIT is of much higher level than AIEEE so if you are good enough for IITJEE then you will definitely do well for AIEEE.

Remember to try out the previous years question papers for AIEEE.

I disagree a little bit from the opinions of other answerer that you can crack AIEEE just by studying for IIT.
I am a 10+2 passed student and preparing for IIT and I know that the syllabus for AIEEE & IIT are nearly same.
BUT

When you study for IIT you encounter a set of problems that need conceptual knowledge and analytical skills, and they all have an 'exception' kind of a thing.
But the question you face in AIEEE are a usually based on our learning skill, our cramming power, and require a little conceptual knowledge.

So when you are preparing for IIT and try to solve AIEEE kind of question, you can get the wrong answer just because you apply the unwanted conceptual reasoning in it.
So be careful.

YEs you can crack AIEEE If you prepare well for IIT JEE.
As Concepts plays the major role in all the entrance exam so you have to do a lot of practice and hard work.
But at the same time also be in the touch with the pattern of each exam as they are different for all.Speed is a very imporatnt factor for AIEEE exam, so prepare accordingly.

yes you can crack aieee just by preparing for iitjee.Reason being if you prepare for iitjee, you are technically very sound to attend any of the aieee questions. You just need to improve a little on your speed, which can easily be achieved by a little practice if you solve some previous year question papers and model test papers.

Yes , you can but not with the same rank as you can score by preparing specially for AIEEE.
There is a difference in their syllabus and the pattern of question papers are different.
AIEEE is totally based on CBSE 12th board syllabus and for good rank in AIEEE you will have to thoroughly go by NCERT books.
AIEEE is considered bit easier as compared to IITJEE.

Of course since the level of AIEEE is much much lower than that of IITJEE. the questions asked in IITJEE are based on concepts and logics and almost no sum is formula oriented, but the questions asked in AIEEE are mostly formula oriented.
hence if you are prepaaring for IITJEE then you are automatically preparing for AIEEE as well as other engineering entrance exams. The syllabus is also 99.99% same but there are some topics such as statistics which is only in AIEEE. However there is no need to worry since the major bulk is common.
Hence if you are working very hard for IITJEE then automatically you are also preparing for AIEEE also. That is the fruit of hard work.
