Can I do B.Ed after completing B.Sc Mathematics?


Hello Sir, I am Rajiv from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. I have done my B.Sc Mathematics. I want to make our career in teaching but I have some problems that are:
1)May I appear at the B.Ed entrance exam after our this qualification?
2)How much time to complete the B.Ed course?

Yes, Bachlor of Education can be done after B.Sc and other courses, the course duration is 2 yrs..

B.Ed is Bachelor in Education. It is two year course from a recognised university.

The required eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 50% aggregate.

Entrance examination is conducted for admission in the course.

Yes, you are eligible to pursue B.Ed. after completion of your BSc mathematics degree.
You are also eligible for the entrance test.

The duration of this course is 2 years.

B.Ed. Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should have done graduation in any of bachelor of arts or bachelor of science or Bachelor in commerce from a recognised University.

A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation.

Therefore, you are eligible.

Entrance test:- Bihar B.Ed. CET

Official notification will release in second week of January, 2020.

Exam will be conducted in the month of March


Result will be declared in last week of March 2020.

After passing BSc with minimum 50% marks you are eligible for B.Ed exam.

B.Ed you can do in two ways:-
Through regular or distance education

Admission for B.Ed is given after completing graduation course. You can pick any graduation course BA, B.Com, B.Sc etc.

Eligibility criteria for B.Ed course;-
A minimum of graduation degree in any stream from a recognised University.
At least 50% marks in graduation. OBC need 45% marks in graduation. While for SC / ST the requirement is 40%.

The admission for B.Ed is given both on merit and entrance exam. However mainly colleges conducts entrance exams for admission.

The duration of B.Ed course is 2 years.

Cann i do bed after my graduation in bsc . My sub are math ,physics, computer . (Major sub is math).
