Can I do BCA after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering?


I have completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and now wanted to do BCA. But, I did not had Mathematics in my Intermediate. So, how can I do BCA? Can I do BCA after writing any entrance and qualifying that entrance? Or, can I get admission based on my Diploma?

No, you are not eligible to do BCA course after completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. To be eligible to pursue BCA course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Mathematics subjects from a recognised board. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, you have passed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, so, you are not eligible to pursue BCA course.

Yes, you can pursue BCA course after completing diploma in mechanical engineering.
However, it is meaning less to pursue BCA after diploma in mechanical engineering rather you should go for B.Tech through LEET and get admission directly in 2nd year of engineering course.
