Yes you do your m.tech from nuclear.
IIT MUMBAI is best for this course.

i am adithya studying 12th.i am intrested in nuclear physics.Isit good to study nuclear engineering in INDIA.how to pursue my goal.

In India M-Tech - Nuclear Engineering is offered at
IIT Madras- interdisciplinary with students from Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy & Physics background
IIT Kanpur- Mechanical, Chemical & Physics
IIT Bombay- Mechanical, Chemical & Physics

Since you are an ECE graduate the best option is to enter BARC..

Dear friend,m.tech in nuclear technology is offered only in iit kanpur.No other iit offer this course.You are eligible to join this course.Nuclear technology has very good scope in research.There is also am acute demand of nuclear engineers and technicians.all the best.
