I have done BCA..suggest me that which is good option for me..either Msc(IT) or Msc(comp sci)??
i do not want to go for MCA due to some financial problem..can i do MCA after Msc??

MSc(IT) and MSc(CSc) are equally good. I suggest MSc(CSc). But Again, Its your interest and self analysis which is required. What u want to be?

But, what benefit you will get. I think it is foolish decision to do MCA after M.sc IT.
After BCA, you can go for MCA, and you face a financial problem, then dont worry
there are several banks, who provide educational loan. So apply for educational loan
and go for MCA. If you do M.sc IT after BCA and then you can do MCA, then i think
it is foolish decesion and you will waste your money as well as time.

So, please go for MCA and then you will save time as well as money. After completing
MCA you will get osem job in IT sector with high salary pacakage. So, please go for
MCA, it is best path for you and dont waste time to do M.sc IT............

yes you can do MCA after M.Sc but its value is only when you do your last degree from a well reputed intitute. And for MSc(IT or CS) you can opt any of these as the subjects are almost same with the difference of only 1 or 2 subjects and scope of both of them is very good.

definitely MSc in computer science will be the better option as IT (information technology ) is just a mere branch like in Computer science and by opting computer science , you will be able to study IT along with many more ...

so , must go for MSc in comp. sci. rather than MSc in IT ..

yes, you can go for MCA after pursuing MSc in CS but why you wan't to do so as MCA is taken equivalent to graduation and by pursuing MCA after MSc will be like a demotion in your degree ..

So , i think that MSc in CS will be enough for you and nothing else more required but if you wan't to study more for higher education that you can go for Phd in CS which are offered by too many colleges in India ...

Dear friend,
As you had completed BCA I suggest you to go for Msc Computer science rather than IT. There is no need to go for again MCA after Msc degree both are equal degrees, nothing to worry. Remember one thing the degree will give you just basic information about the subject it depends on solely you to prove your self for the world. So don't bother about the degree you are 100% in the write track only. If you still want to go for MCA after your Msc it will be your choice but it will be in general waste of time. So choose Msc computer science with out any doubt. All the best.

There is no doubt on that. You can surely do that. But its strange to see that you want to do MCA after MSc. Dont know why but i dont think its recommended.

I would say that better you do MSc(IT). Its a great branch and you can awesome jobs with good payment and perks. However if you could somehow manage MCA then it would be great as MCA is considered slight better than MSc(IT)

Instead of MCA after MSc you do your Phd in it which will flourish you career like anything.

So choose the right career choice after you graduation

definetely you can do mca after msc.but msc(computer science or it) is equivalent to mca(master in computer coputer application).

so i think you should do msc first.then you should go for mba.it will be very good carrier opportunity for you....

All these three courses i.e. M.Sc (IT), M.Sc (Comp Sc) and MCA has different purposes. The first one is of 2 years duration and MCA is of 3 years duration. If you are having financial problems then going for either of the first two is advisable. Since you have done BCA doing M.Sc (comp sc) is more advisable. There is absolutely no need of doing a MCA after M.Sc instead you can do some other programming courses to improve your technical skill set.

the point is that you must have math as one of the paper in graduation scored minimum 50%
but i suggest you to do Msc (it) or Msc(comp sci)

i have done Bsc. IT what should i opt for Msc IT or mca? which one of them will be good for career and which one will give me more opportunities in IT sector with good salary packages.

If you do not want to pursue MCA just because of poor financial condition than you have 2 solutions:

You can try getting admission in government colleges. The fees in govt. college is very less compared to private colleges.

You can apply for various scholarship exams which are awarded for post graduate study.

But if you are interested in doing MSc. then you can select either Msc(IT) or Msc(comp sci),both are equally good.

Yes you can do MCA after completing the MSC but it will be totaly wasting of time..why can't you take direct admission in the MCA ,so that you can save your time.....

And also it would be better for you for the job prospects.If you have already completed your graduation in MSC then it would be better for you to go for the Job rather then doing any other courses....

If you really want to go for higher study then go for the M.Tech it would be beneficial for you in the future and you will also find interest in ding M.Tech....

msc (computer science) will be good for you to pursue after bca. this is becase, now a days, computer science students are getting placed very easily. there are a lot of private companies employing them. also you can do mca after doing msc.

MCA is the best for you,and as far as the finacial problem is consern,

then give the exam of the iit jam. after qualifying this exam, you can take the admission for the MCA course. and also you will get monthly stipend.

I don't know why you are just leaving the great opportunity by yourself simply because of financial problem.

MCA is a very good option You asked to do it after your M.Sc. I think you may be thinking that by the time you finish your M.Sc your financial position may become bright.

But that's not good. You can do MCA after M.Sc. But you will be given the same preference as you join MCA after BCA. SO 2 years of valuable career you simply wasted by your hands.

Keep in mind one thing. Once money is lost, you may earn it at anytime. But once career is lost, you can not get it back.

To get money, you may take loans from various banks if you don't have any support from your relatives and other sources.

Hope you take wise decision and join MCA.

I think after BCA,MCA is the right option,otherwise it willbe better Msc(com sc).
After Msc you can go for MCA but it would not be effective,i thnk after msc you should go for M.tech...

yes.you can do MCA after Msc.after completing your Msc ,you need to write Icet exam.and the after qualifiing your exam , you can do mca either regular or parttime by doing job on the qualification of Msc.

MCA is the course where other student other than BSC computer science or BSC computer technology can do...MCA is better course than MSC ...since many company wanted the guys MCA rather than MSC .So, it would be better to go with MCA

MCA & MSc IT both of them are Master degree.Different is just in the duration,both courses provide good software skills.I think after MCA & MSc IT your skills are more important.So give attention to your knowledge and skills.This courses will be showing you the right job.

Rather than M.Sc.(IT) it is good to choose M.Sc.(Comp. Sc.). Yet, the decision lies with you.
You can do MCA after that, but it would not be a thoughtful move as both are almost equal subjects. But once again, if you wish to go for it, there is no problem. But if you do not do MCA, it is all right.

YES U CAN.U HAVE TO APPEAR IN MCA ENTRANCE TEST FOR MCA ADMISSION.

But M.Sc is also a very good option....I would suggest you to go for M.Sc(IT)...

It would be better if you go for M.Sc(CS). But being so far away from you, i can never know what is best for you. It is you who have to judge this. Only you can judge what you are good at. See, its not always true that only courses with good job propectus can fetch you a good job. Its you who snaches away a good job for you, through your skills. Remember, a company hiries someone who can do their job, not someone with a decorated report card.

So it is upto you my friend. Do what you feel like and what you are best at. Remember, the people who went through a different path challenging the society have become someone great. They are our inspiration today.

do anybody know about MACS course of IGNOU . it is good to do it after completing BCA . as course demands u must be maths (hons). or ba in maths or bsc in maths .pls guide for completing its criteria should i fill ba maths from an open university .

hii, to enter in the IITs you need to write the GATE exam its an all india level exam conducted by the MHRD.To get into IITs you must have minimum 96 percentile.
some useful tips for GATE,

1.study all the standard books as per the syaalbus.
2.cover up all the basic concepts well.
3.solve as many problems as you can can from various books.
4.Take coaching from good insti like the gateforum.
5.Take mock exam this will help you too perform well.
