can i do UPSC after 12th science?....please tell me whether can i do upsc

NDA is the common entrance exam conducted by UPSC for HSC holders. In order to attend the test, you must be an unmarried male candidate. Being a science student, you can apply to any of the three wings of army. Your age must be less than 19 years. Application details can be collected from UPSC portal.

You have completed 12th in science department so you are applicable for UPSC two exam .Details of the exams are given below-

NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .This exam is conduct for recruitment in - Army wings, Navy wings, Air force Wings.

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all above wings.NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

You must have passed In The First or Second Division, The Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of A recognized University or Board With Mathematics And At least one of The Subjects Physics and Chemistry As Subjects of the Examination.

OR

Graduates with mathematics and At least one of The subjects Physics and Chemistry As Their Degree Subjects May Also Apply For UPSC SCRA Examination.

You must have attained the age of minimum 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years.

Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC Candidates.

Yeah you can appear for UPSC examination after completing 12th examination .

Two types examination for Intermediate candidates ::

• Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination
• National Defence Academy Examination

Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Examination and this year examination was already completed and Next notification will be publish in the month of October or November in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news paper .

Eligibility Criteria for SCRA ::

The student need to completed 12th examination with Physics , Chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for this examination .

Those who have a completed Bachelor's degree with Physics and Mathematics may also eligible to apply for this examination and there is no percentage bar required to apply for SCRA Examination .

The student must have a minimum 17 years and maximum 21 years and Upper age limits is applicable . Both the Male and female candidates are eligible .

The pattern of the examination is objective type questions and the questions will based on Physics , Chemistry , English , Mathematics .

National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for admission to Army wings , Navy wings and Air force wings .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA ::

The student need to completed 12th examination with Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects for applying the post of Navy wings and Air force wings and final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for this examination .

The student must have a minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years and No Upper age limits is applicable . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination .

NDA Exam pattern :: Mathematics and General ability .

Dear Friend

First of all I would like to appreciate your decision to go for the UPSC exams .But you will have to do hard labour along with full concentration as the competition is very tough .Lots of candidates in lacs give this exam but very few are selected .

I think you are asking about whether you are eligible for the UPSC examinations at the 10+2 level .

There are two examinations that are conducted by the UPSC for the 10+2 students .

First one is the National defense Academy examinations .

Here I am giving brief description about this exam :

>>Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or are appearing for the exam are eligible to apply for the exam.

>>The age limit for the exam is 16.5 to 19 years.

>>You must be unmarried male Indian citizen.

>>You should be physically and mentally fit.

Note: This exam is conducted twice every year in the month of april and june respectively.

Second one is the SCRA that stands for the Special class Railway apprentice examinations .

For this exam you need to 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board with PCM as compulsory subjects.

>>The age limit is 17-21 years.

>>You must be an Indian citizen.

>>It is conducted once every year.

- Army wings

- Navy wings

- Air force Wings

Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings.

For Navy / Air force wings:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board.

There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination .

Age limit:-

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam.

Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam.
