Yes, you can join to 2nd year of engineering degree through lateral entry scheme. Usually aspirants with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks are considered for admission. Punjab University, Thapar University, etc conducts entrance test for admission. Haryana State Counseling Society conducts online entrance test (OLET) for lateral entry admissions to B.Tech. Topics covered under diploma forms the syllabus for lateral entry entrance test.
