Can i get admission in iist through iit 2011 ranking without giving isat ? Can i secure a seat in iist if i am in extended merit list in iit ?

my ambition is to become an aerospace engineer nd i want to study in iisat.now i completed 12th but didn`t appear iisat entrance.
i decided to write it in next year.how should i prepare for it nd what is d minimum rank to get an admission at isat?

Some years ago there was some seats which are achieved through IIT JEE,but now a days in IIST the admission is fully based on the ranks obtained in IIST exam so now there is no seat for EML in IIT JEE..

I have scored 215 marks in jee 2011 I want to know my rank in EML

The only way to get admission in IIST is to crack their entrance exam-ISAT which is held on a yearly basis. ISAT 2012 is over so you can try in ISAT-2013.

You can get a seat if and only if seats are vacant after the admission of the first merit list

can i appear for isat without appearing for iit jee?

I got 67 marks in jee advanced 2017 with each subject marks as 31 in maths & 15 in physics & 21 in chemistry can I get an admission in IIST Trivendram.
