Re: Can I get admission for Petroleum Engineering by giving AIEEE having secured 36% in PCM?
According to the eligibility criteria of AIEEE 2012 ,one should be pass in
10+2 board/equivalent examination and should have Physics and Maths. in 10+2. There is no percentage restriction for those who are appearing AIEEE for admission in B.E./B.Tech. The percentage restriction is for those who are appearing AIEEE for admission in B.Arch./B.Planning. Therefore, you are eligible for the AIEEE. There is only one institute(through AIEEE) Bhagwant University, Ajmer that offers B.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering. If you are eligible for AIEEE and you score good rank then you might get admission in the college. In 2011 the closing rank of this branch in the mentioned institute was AIR 37482.
