There is no need to get sad. You can get government jobs after completing graduation including the Bachelor of Arts course. You have got good percentage in the Bachelor of Arts therefore I will first recommend you the banking job.

Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts Bank PO entrance exam on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Undertaking banks. You are eligible for this entrance exam.

If cleared you will get PO job in government banks which effectively means that you will have a bank job. Therefore you should start preparing for the Bank PO entrance exam by Institute of Banking Personnel Services. It is due to be held in September of this year.


IBPS Bank PO Eligibility

1. Must have finished graduation.

2. 60 percent marks in any graduation course.

3. Diploma/degree in Computers is also mandatory.

4. However if you studied Computers/IT subject in 12th or college then there is no need for separate degree.

5. Age group to appear for this exam is 20 to 28 years.

6. Upto 3 years relaxation for OBC in upper age limit.

7. The relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST.

8. There is 10 years relaxation for PWD.


Other option for you is Civil Services Examination. You can appear for this exam to qualify for Indian Police Service or the Indian Administrative Service. In both case you need gradution degree which you already have.

The Civil Services Examination is conducted once in a year. You can not appear this year but next year. You should use this time to prepare for the Civil Services Examination.

2. He/she should be graduate to appear for exam.

3. There is no percentage criteria.

4. The age limit is 21 to 30 years for the exam.

5. 3 years relaxation is given to OBC as per government rules.

6. 5 years relaxation under same rules for SC/ST.

Can i get a govt job after 2 commerce with 62%

After passing B.A., you can get a Government job by cracking exams like CDS/Civil Service Exam/bank Clerical or P.O. exam and many more clerical job under both State and Central Government.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy or Officer's Training Academy of CDS - The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having completed Graduation in any stream froma recognised University within the age of 21 to 25 years with good Physical Fitness.

Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year to become IAS/IPS/IRS etc. - The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
