1. Rules & regulation .
2.conditions under which you are eligible for it.

yes bro u can but only in these possible conditions

1) if he faces any accident and cannot work appropriately now
2) if the concerned authorities permit you to do so..

Yes you can get a government job in yours father's place but for that your father need to have a minimum of 5 years of job service left over.

More over you need to take the medical certificate of your father with govt. and official attestation.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you will be able to get the job but not the exact job of your father but some lower order job according to your educational qualification.

Basically, once only get his/her father's job, if his/her father passes away before his retirement.

But then also, his son or daughter will not get the same post of his/her father as it requires for experience and that much qualification to reach that post.

**It is sure if your father is eligible for pension then he has to surrender his job.

**Only death case can give you the compassion ground Job.

Its depend on job type, rules of their company.

If he is not able to do the job again and if the company allow their seat to their family member then you can join your father's company or job whatever it is.
