hello sir/ mam,
i have a gate percentile of 98.6 and my all india rank is 221. my category is general quota.
can i get seat in IIT or IISc?

your rank is very good what ever be the branch,
you will surely get an admission in one of the iits and also there are every chances that you may get admission in the iisc Bangalore also,
if you would have mentioned your subject it would have been more easy to answer your question,
one thing is sure you will definitely be called for the written test or interview of the various iits or iisc Bangalore after that your admission depends on the fact that how you perform in that written test or the interview ,so prepare well for that

congrats for your score with this score iisc is really impossible, it needs 99 percentile with 40 rank, so apply in all iits
probably you will get IIT guwahati,IIT roorkhee.

hii, anjan if you want to get seat in the iisc you need to get 99 percentile thats about 40 rank is must, loads of hard work is needed and luck too.

well IISc. Is out of your range but IITs are definitely under

your range and you should apply to all the IITs

you will get in almost all the IITs except perhaps Bombay kanpur etc.
