Hey friend,

Having done +2 in Science stream and with 67% aggregate you are eligible for joining in Indian Navy.The procedure for it is by writing the entrance exam for it and the exam which you need to write is the NDA Exam

This exam offers you to join in the force but only when you satisfy the criteria's framed for the exam as it is the procedure to apply for the exam

The criteria's for the exam would include such as:

>> Nationality

>> Martial Status

>> Age Limit

>> Education Qualification

>> Physical Standard

To be descriptive about these standards which are mentioned above,they are:

-> You need to be a citizen of India and the candidate appearing for the exam must be a unmarried male candidate

-> The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

-> Candidate appearing for the exam must be physically fit while appearing for the exam as it is very important.

If you are going to satisfy all these above mentioned criteria's then you can apply for the NDA exam to join in Indian Navy

Yeah you are eligible for Indian navy after 12th with science stream. But through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam, this exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) 2 times in every year.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board.

12th standard exams appearing candidates are also eligible.

Percentage is not important to appear this exam.

For navy and airforce candidate must be complete 12th standard with Science stream.

The candidates age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years and no age relaxation.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible so that girls are not eligible for NDA exam.


Selection process:-

Written test,

SSB Interview,

Medical test.

Dear Friend,

Sorry but you cannot join Indian Navy if you have passed 12th with Biology with 67% marks.

This is because after 12th , you can join Indian Defence through NDA Examination and in NDA Examination , only those candidates are eligible to appear for the examination who have completed their 12th with physics , Chemistry and Maths .

But at the same time , you can applyfor the NDA Examination for Indian Army.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

I am sorry to say that after passing 12th with biology you are not eligible or Indian Navy.

For joining Indian Navy you have to pass 12th class with physic and maths.

If you want you can join Indian Army.

For join Indian Army you have to pass 12th class with any stream.

After passing 12th with Biology stream you can join National Defence Academy.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
In month of and April and August.
Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

It is good that you have completed your 12th class with Biology with good percentage of marks.

Have a glance over the required criteria for the candidates to make entry into Indian Navy.

The candidate should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

The required age for the candidates will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

The candidate should be a citizen of India.

The candidate should be unmarried male candidate.

If you are a female candidate, I am sorry, you can not apply for this exam.

As you have completed your 12th class in Life Sciences, you are having Physics as the compulsory subject. That is for sure.

But you did not mention whether have gone through Mathematics in your 12th class or not.

If you have Mathematics subject in your 12th class, then you can apply for this exam. Otherwise you are eligible to apply for Army wing through NDA Exam.

Both Army wing and Navy wing are the popular defence services in India.
