Sir, I have an average percentage of 80% in my B.Tech but my first semester results is very less i.e., only 59%. Can I get a chance PSU if I am clearing GATE examination?

GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

Examination is conducted for admission in M.Tech or recruitment in PSU's.

Candidates with good rank in the examination are eligible for recruitment in PSU. Recruitment in PSU is not on the basis of aggregate in B.Tech course.

Your semester marks are not taken into account for PSUs eligibility, instead aggregate marks in bachelor's degree in technology is taken into account.

In majority of PSUs, GATE score is required. Without GATE scorecard, you can not get into PSUs. You can score well in GATE for better chances of job in PSUs.
