suppose i have cleared net in life science. i am from kolkata. can i get my posting here or around kolkata? if not,then how the college where i would be appointed will be decided?

Just clearing National Eligibility Test does not mean that you will get the job of Lecturer. There needs to notification for vacancies of Lecturer. You can apply for those vacancies and there is examination and interview conducted for NET qualified candidate.

Depending upon your performance in these stages, you will get job of lecturer in colleges in your state or other state also. Generally, every details related to that is mentioned in notification.
