Yes. You may get admission to government college for course in Instrumentation Engineering with GATE AIR 3312.

M.Tech (Instrumentation Engineering) Eligibility
- You must have passed B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Marine, Industrial, Manufacturing disciplines with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- You need to qualify entrance exam for admission.

Gate 2010/11: qualifying score for gen: 25, OBC: 22.50 and for SC/ST : 16.67

Gate 2013 : qualifying score for gen: 25, OBC: 22.50 and for SC/ST : 16.67

Gate 2014 : qualifying score for gen: 25.00, OBC: 22.50 and for SC/ST : 16.67

Gate 2015 : qualifying score for gen: 25.45, OBC: 22.90 and for SC/ST : 16.96

Gate 2016 : qualifying score for gen: 31.6, OBC: 28.40 and for SC/ST : 21.00

you can get state govt college in state quota.
