I am expecting 38 marks in CE in GATE 2012. Can I get structure branch in NIT.

Hello,
National Institute of Technology is one of the best institute for engineering and technology over India. So for getting admission into it you must have to score very good marks in GATE exam.
For NITs you need to score more than 45 marks for a general candidates. For a reserved candidate 40 marks is enough.

As you have mentioned that you have scored 38 so there is less chance of getting your desired branch in any of NITs.
However you can get chance in Jadavpur university, Bengal engineering college level universities across the country.
