hi...
the total mark percentage required in PCM is 50% and above...as your percentage is 75%,you will be eligible for appearing the exam..
there is also an age limit to apply for the exam..
as you are a SC student, your date of birth should be on or after october 1983.
if these both conditions satisfy, then you can apply for aieee exam...

Dear Friend

I think you are not updated with the latest information regarding the engineering entrance examination. From the year 2013 there will no AIEEE or IIT JEE but a common entrance examination for the engineering courses will be held.

The common entrance test is called ISEET and stands for the Indian Science Engineering Eligibility test.

Now it will be the gateway to the top Engineering colleges of India like Indian Institute of Technology ,National institute of technology.

ISEET will have two parts:

1.ISEET main exam

2.ISEET advanced exam.

Both the papers will be of three hours duration .Both the test together will analyse the aptitude and knowledge for engineering.

Now coming to the eligibility criteria:

Any candidate who has secured 45% marks in 10+2 with physics ,chemistry and mathematics from a recognized board is eligible to apply for the exam as per latest rule of All Indian Council for the Technical education.

So you are eligible for the exam.

But one thing I would like to tell you that % of 10+2 will play a major role in selection for the good engineering colleges. It will have 40% weightage and you cannot ignore its importance.

Hope the information will definitely help you .If you want any more clarification or you have any other query please leave it here.

all the best for your career.
