dear friend,

Sorry to say dear you are not eligible for GATE exam in BIOTECH department.

Because you have to completed B-TECH in production .so you are applicable for GATE exam in production department.

Only bio science department are eligible for GATE exam for BIO department.

So you can try for production department.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board.

~~ To apply for this examination you have to complete your 4 Year Engineering degree course in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture

OR

~~ You have Complete your Master degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent from a recognised University.

If You have completed your BE Degree course in production then you have to choose Production and Industrial Engineering subjects in GATE.

You Have to appear in a paper appropriate to the discipline of your qualifying degree.

For this year GATE Notification was already declared and the examination of GATE was also Completed. So, if you have missed the chance this time then please apply for GATE Next time.
