can i give ias exam with (B.E.) IT branch..?...could u please tell me the details

Hi friend,

Yes you can give IAS exam with B.E IT branch.
Not only IT branch any other stream candidates can also give IAS exam.

Eligibility conditions:
A degree in any recognized university of India
You can apply for the exam even if you are in final year and waiting for result
You must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan who comes to India before Jan 1, 1962 and settled
Your age should be between 21-30 on August 1st of the year of Examination
Age relaxation is provided as per government rules
3 for OBC
5 for Sc/St

No. of attempts
4 for General
7 for OBC
no restriction for Sc/St.

Selection procedure:
Written test conducted by UPSC CSE(civil service examination) called prelims
then
Mains and then
Interview
