Can i join Air Force? i am a 10th pass student..please give me the details

No, after 10th you are not eligible to join Indian Air Force which is possible after 12th from Science stream through NDA entrance exam.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate aspiring for IAF of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Health.

NO, you cannot apply for Airforce just after passing class 10th

Sorry to say this you are not eligible to join in Indian Air Force after completing 10th standard.Because the minimum educational qualification is 10+2 standard.

So first you need to complete 12th standard and then you can apply for this Indian Air Force.

To join in Indian Air Force first you can crack the NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by the UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should be citizen of India

Candidate should be physically fit

candidate should be complete 12th with PCM(Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics) subjects for Indian Air Force.

Age limit:

Candidate minimum age limit is above 16.5 years.

candidate maximum age limit is below 19 years.

There is no age relaxation.

Important Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this NDA exam.
Girls are not eligible for this exam.

Sorry 10th pass qualification will not make you eligible for any Indian Air Force examination.

You have to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths to become eligible for Indian Air Force jobs.

If you complete 10+2 with PCM then you will have options like NDA and other non officer post like Group X trade and Group Y trade.

The age limit for NDA is 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried male can apply for it. So complete 10+2 as early a possible because age limit is very less and you have to beat the competition also to get selected.

The selection will be based on the following stages:

-Objective Test

-SSB Interview

-Medical Examination

Those in merit will be selected for the academy.

For Non Officer posts the age limit will be 17.5 to 23 years and the selection will be based in the written exam, physical fitness test and medical examination.

No you can not get in the air force after 10.It is not possible to get in to air force with a mere qualification of 10.
You need to pass your 10+2 minimum in order to get in to any wing of the defense.

The minimum qualification required is 10+2,after which you are eligible for NDA,but you cannot apply for know.

But in order to apply for air force after 10+2,you must have physics and maths in 10+2.Otherwise it is not possible to apply in the air force.
