Re: Can I join genetic engineering after taking BIPC in 12th?
As to take the admission in engineering and to apply for the engineering entrance exam candidate must be passed 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics if he or she does not have any one of these subjects that can not apply for the engineering.
>> as you are passed the 12th with biology, physics and chemistry so you are not a eligible candidate but you can apply for the pre medical exam. |

Yes, you can pursue a career in Genetic Engineering after completing your 12th with the BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) combination.
Genetic Engineering is a specialized field that involves the manipulation and modification of genetic material to develop new technologies, treatments, and products. To pursue Genetic Engineering, you can follow these steps: Obtain a Bachelor's Degree: You can pursue a Bachelor's degree in Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related fields. Many universities and colleges offer undergraduate programs specifically designed for students interested in Genetic Engineering. These programs provide a strong foundation in genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, and other relevant subjects. Entrance Exams: Some universities and institutions may require you to appear for entrance exams for admission into their Genetic Engineering or Biotechnology programs. These entrance exams vary depending on the institution and location. Examples of such entrance exams in India include JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Master's Degree (Optional): After completing your Bachelor's degree, you can pursue a Master's degree in Genetic Engineering or a related field. This will further enhance your knowledge and skills in the field and open up more advanced career opportunities. |
