can i join indian airforce and which facultoy

Hai,

Pre-final year students of graduation can't eligible for Indian AirForce. Final year or graduation completed candidates can eligible for the Indian Airforce through the Combined Defence Service exam, which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Graduation final year persuing candidates are also eligible.

You should be an Indian origin.

For this exam you don't need any percentage restrictions to apply this exam.


Age criteria:-

The age limits for Indian Naval academy are 19 years to 22 years,

Age limits for Indian Military academy are 19 to 24 years,

The age limits for Indian Airforce academy are 19 years to 23 years,

Age limits for Officers Training Academy are 19 years to 25 years.

There is no upper age relaxation for reservation candidates.


Selection process:-

Written test,

Physical test,

Personal interview.


Written exam syllabus:-

General English,

General Knowledge,

Elementary Mathematics.

Only final year Graduation Degree in any stream can apply for Indian Air Force through CDS(Combined Defence Service) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Air Force of CDS, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass or B.Tech. Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental Health.

Hence being a pursing pre final which means 3rd year of B.Tech. Civil Engineering, you are not eligible for Air force of CDS but in the final year of B.Tech. Degree you are eligible to apply for the same.
