can i join indian army after completing BSc in microbiology?...please tell me

Hai,

Yeah yes shore you are eligible for indian army after completion of B.Sc Microbiology.

For this you need to apply CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam, this exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year i.e CDS-I,

CDS-II.


Eligibility criteria:

Candidate should be complete graduation or any equivalent in any stream from a recognised university.

Final appearing candidates also eligible.

You must be physically fit,

You must be a citizen of india.

Male and female both the candidates are eligible.


Age criteria:

For naval academy 19 years to 22 years,

For Airforce academy 19 years to 23 years,

For Military academy 19 years to 24 years,

For officer training academy 19 years to 25 years.


Selection process:

Written test,

Interview,

Medical test.

Yes you are eligible to apply for the Indian Army as an officer after the graduation. You can join Indian Army as an officer through Combined defence service examination. The CDS examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. The eligibility required by the candidate for the combined defence service examination is given below:

Education Qualification
For the combined defence service examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Candidate appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.
Candidate applying for the Indian Air force and navy should have physics and maths at 10+2.

Age Limit
Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy 19-25Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years

Yes you are eligible as long as you satisfy the age limits and physical standard
If you have passed 10+2 with both maths and biology then you will be eligible for more posts as compared to only Biology

1)Soldier (General Duty) - 17 ½ - 21 Yrs
(All Arms)

2)Soldier (Technical) -
(Technical Arms, Artillery, Army Air Defence)

-10+2 with PCME with 50 % aggregate and 40% in each subject.
-age-17 ½ - 23 Yrs

3)Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical
(All Arms)
-10+2 with any stream again 50% as aggregate and 40% in each subject but must have also passed maths/accounts with 40%.
-age-17 ½ - 23 Yrs

4)Soldier Nursing Assistant
(Army Medical Corps)
-10+2 with PCBE with min 50 % marks aggregate and 40% in each subject
-age- 17 ½ - 23 Yrs

5)Soldier Tradesmen-
(All Arms)
-10th pass
-age- 17 ½ - 23 Yrs

6)Soldier General Duty (Matric Simple Pass)

there are some conditions to be follow:

eligibility :
- you must complete your 12th in recognized board.
- you must 60% aggregate in degree.

age limit :
- 19 to 24 years

dates are :
there are two part such as :

CDS-I :
- Issuing of application from
29-10-2011 to 28-11-2011.

exam :
- exam will held on 12-2-2012.

CDS-II :
- Issuing of application from
2-6-2012 to 2-7-2012.

- exam will held on 16-9-2012.

Yes, after completion of B.Sc. you can join Indian Army through appearing entrance exam of CDS(Combined Defence Service) conducted by UPSC twice every year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INDIAN ARMY OF CDS:-

-The candidate must be an Indian unmarried male candidate.
-He should have either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.
-He should be within the age group of 19 to 24 years.

As you are a Graduate in Science stream, you can apply for other wings of CDS:-

If you have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Graduation then you can apply for Indian Naval/Indian Air Force Academy of CDS

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.This exam is conducted by the UPSC union Public Service commission of India.
If you are interested in Indian Army academy then you should be satisfy the eligibility criteria like,

• You should be citizen of India.

• You should be qualified for bachelors degree in any stream science or commerce from recognized university.
• your age must between 16.5 to 19 years old.
• You should physically fit for the NDA trtaining.
