Can i join in Indian Army with 16 years age after doing 10th class

Since you Are Currently in class 10th. You can't go for any of the defence line yet. The best and nearest opportunity for you is NDA ( National Defence Academy). You can become a navy officer if you clear NDA. All you have to do is wait for the right time. Here are some requirements you should meet in order to apply for NDA :-

Following are the Minimum requirements to join NDA :-

1:- Age should be in between 16.5 years and 19 years.
2:- Must be +2 qualified.
3:- Must be a citizen of India.

You can join to Indian Army after completing HSC. Also, you should have completed 16 ½ years of age. Selection process is made through UPSC conducted NDA exam. Upper age limit is 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the test.

yes there are jobs which can be joined on the basis of class 10th, but it is very much advisable to join army on basis of class 12th by cracking nda which national difence academy ,exam is conducted by upsc, jobs in army that can be joined on basis of class 10th are:

1.SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY:

ELIGIBILITY: 45% IN CLASS 10TH
age: between 17 1/2 to 21 years
selection- based on body strength, written exam and medical exam
test pattern: g.k, arithmetic, and high school 10th syllabus


2.SOLDIER TECHNICAL
ELIGIBILITY: 45% MARKS IN 10TH
age 16 to 21
test pattern same as soldier general duty

There's no way you can join Indian Army after class 10. You need to be a minimum 12th pass out to be considered eligible to give the NDA Exam. By giving this exam you can enter the wing of your choice provided if you are able to perform well and impress the selectors.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year. On completing three years in the academy you will be awarded with a B.A./B.Sc degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Exam Pattern:-

• There are two sections in the written examination as follows:- Mathematics and General Ability Test.
  
• For the Mathematics paper 300 marks have been allotted and for the second paper 600 marks have been allotted.
  
• For each paper 2.5 hours have been allotted. The total marks allotted for the exam is 900. Paper can be answered in either Hindi or English.
  
• From the second paper General Ability Test you will get questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography and Current Event.

Yes, you can join Indian Army as a soldier after 10th standard, but if you want to join Indian Army as an Officer, you have to crack NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Navy and Air Force along with Indian Army after 12th standard.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Army, must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Medical test.

So,as you have not completed 12th class,you cannot join in indian army.

It is really nice to see that you want to join Indian Army, but it is not possible after 10th level.

You need to pass 12th level or in the final year to become eligible to apply for NDA exam for joining Indian Army.

No,you cannot apply for any exams for joining in Indian Army as it is the only procedure for applying for the exam.

The reason behind is that you are not satisfying the Education qualification needed for applying for the exam.

The minimum education qualification needed for the exam for joining in Indian Army is that you need to have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with a fair percentage.

It is needed that you should have this criteria and along with this there are certain other criteria's which are also needed to be satisfied along with this.

> The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

> The candidate appearing for the exam must have a minimum age limit of 16 1/2-19 years of age.

> The candidate appearing for the exam must be Physically fit while appearing for the exam.
