I am 55 years old graduate from Punjab University, Chandigarh and want Law degree via correspondence mode of education from near by University of Punjab. Is it possible at my age? If yes, then how can I apply? How much will it cost and how many years will it take to complete the LLB via distance mode?

LLB is three year course from a recognised university after completion of bachelor degree in any discipline.

There is no upper age limit to get admission in the course. But, the Bar Council of India does not offer the legal degree to one which is offered in the correspondence.

So, I will suggest you to not to pursue the degree in distance as it will be of no use.
