can i select the engineering mathematics as my optional subject?

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. It is one of the top most civil service in India.

In order to get into civil services, you should have to crack civil services examination being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

CSAT Exam is common for everyone. But for Main Examination, you need to select 2 optional subjects and have to take the exam on those 2 subjects.

You did not mention the highest academic qualification which you have. If you have gone through Mathematics as one of the subject in your previous academic levels, better to choose Mathematics as optional subject for IPS Exam.

Your age should be between 21-30 years to apply for this exam.
