Normally it is the B.Tech candidates who are eligible to go in for M.Tech. But MCA is almost considered to be a course equivalent to B.Tech. So these candidates are also allowed to go in M.Tech course. IIT, NIT are most popular institutes. Take the GATE exam as almost all institutes do accept this score.
