The admission through KCET is open only to the Karnataka residents; however there are some seats under management quota which are for the non Karnataka students.

Karnataka CET consists of examinations for four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics. Candidates who want to get admission in Engineering courses appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics exams. Those who want admission in medical/dental courses appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology exams. The candidates who want admission in B. Arch should have given NATA on whose basis admission to B.Arch is conducted.

if you possess the domicile of the state then you can appear otherwise there is a separate quota for outside candidates who are seeking admissions to various technical undergraduate courses.

I also once heard that there is quota for outside state students but i think its a rumour. I also doubt whether you can answer KCET. But dont worry if you want to get into Karnataka college then you can appear for COMEDK which is all india level

hi friend,
to write the kcet exam you must be a resident of karnataka for at-least seven to eight years.but you have many options-you can write AIEEE if you want engineering,AIMS if you want medical,IIT-JEE or you can opt for COMED-K.
if you want more information about it you can browse in www.kcet.co.in.
you will get all the required information.

OK then all the best

well my friend I think that you are not eligible to write KCET entrance exam.
The exam is for residents of Karnataka
the applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th Std. or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects, irrespective of marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test. In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

GOOD LUCK.

HI,
No you are not eligible for K-CET if you belong to some other state.

The admission through KCET 2011 is open only to the Karnataka residents; however there are some seats under management quota which are for the non Karnataka students.

Sir, We are applying K CET under the criteria of HORANADU KANNNADIGA. Will the domicile certificate taken in the year 2008 is applicable now or should we take a new one? Remaining all certificate are available.
