Re: Can a student of science maths do B.Pharmacy?
1. Entry into B. Pharm. Pharmacy is an extremely popular choice of career and as such there are limited places for students. Acceptance into the Pharmacy Degree requires a minimum of English and Mathematics (NOT mathematics literacy), and Physical Science (all NQF level 5). Life Sciences at NQF level 5 or recognised equivalent and Computer literacy at NQF level 4 are strongly recommended. 2. Entry into Pharmacology Honours All students who are in their final year of B.Sc or have obtained a B.Sc or equivalent degree with at least a C aggregate may apply. Applicants should have a B.Sc credit in at least one of the following biological science courses at a third year level: Advanced Biology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Genetics, Human Biology, Medical Biochemistry, Medical Cell Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology. |
