Hi
The Eligibility Condition for any B.Tech course is as follows : 1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India. 2. You must have secured at least 60% aggregate in your 12th boards. Usually the best institutes as for this criteria. 3. You should not be enrolled in any other graduation program (regular or part time). 4. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the compulsory subject one should have studied to take up B.Tech further as graduation. So even if you have got some grace in Physics, if your aggregate in 12th boards is above 60%, then surely you are eligible for the B.Tech course in any university. For any more details, Please Click Here to visit the official UPTU Website. Also if not UPTU, but surely you can get admission in any good private college or university like Amity, SRM, Manipal, LPU, etc... All the best Regards #RJ# ![]() |

Hii friend.
Yes, you can apply for b.tech. As there are a lot of institutes in India for engineering, so definately you can pursue b.tech. But not all colleges require the same eligibility criteria. For getting in good and reputed colleges the minimum eligibility should be: You must have to secure 60% aggregate in 10+2 with subjects having PCM. You have 2nd division in physics. But you can also get into other colleges . You may face problems during the job selections. Eligibility criteria for each companies may differ. But still if you want to study b.tech then go for it. You can do higher studies for getting jobs at better posts. Good Luck |
