Hi,
I am a B.Sc (Biotechnology) student. Can I able to apply for M.Tech (Biotechnology)? Please send me details regarding college offering M.Tech (Biotechnology) (Regular) for the above UG degree

yes absolutely you can apply for M.Tech. after pursuing your degree in B.Sc. biotechnology.but for that you have to appear for the entrance exam of the respective colleges or institutes.
this course is provided by IITs,annamalai university,TIFR,etc.
these institutes conduct there entrance exams all over the nation and select the students on the basis of their merit.sometimes they may ask you for the interviews.
the question paper pattern is all MCQs.

After B.sc or any UG course it is not possible to persue M.Tech.

You have to complet your M.sc, then after only you can go for it .And after M.sc one and only the best way that is GATE.

GATE is conducted by IISC in colaboration with IIT every year. For providing admission into M.Tech IIT's, IISC, NIT's. Besides Reputed Institutes hundres of other institutes also provides admission through GATE, including other TOP institutes like- BITS, JU, BESU, DU, Anna, etc.

Eligibility for M.sc candidates is such that they have completed there M.sc in there respecive subject with at lest 60% aggregate including all semesters. Candidate you are appeared are also eligible for it.

sorry friend
as you did a b.sc in biotech you can not go a m.tech degree directly
rather you can go for m.sc in biotechnology

also i would like to suggest you one more field ,that is you can go for a post graduation/ master`s degree in clinical research that is a very good new emerging field and you can apply in this directly after completing your b.sc in biotech ology

The answer to your question is a BIG NO!!! there is no way you can do M.Tech after only BSc. TO be eligible for MTEch you either have to have a Bachelor's degree in engineering which is not at all possible for you now. The other way is having a master's degree in science which is a possibility for you. So after completing your B.Sc you may go for PG as in M.Sc and then apply for the GATE examination which is conducted by IIT in collaboration with IISC. Thereafter, depending on your results, you may get admitted in the college of your choice, but the sole criteria is your marks.
Also, many other colleges readily accept the GATE's marks, hence IIT is not the end of the road.

hello friend,
you cannot go for M.Tech after doing B.Tech in biotechnology.
For studying M.Tech you have to get at least an M.Sc degree .
After that cracking the GATE exam you can admit in M.Tech course in several reputed institutes like IITs and IISc etc.

for doing MTech, you have to do msc.

then you will be eligiable to attain GATE .

after qualifing the GATE exam, you can do MTech.

i think u can not apply for that.because according to my knowledge b.tech holder only can apply for m.tech.as u r from b.sc u can not apply for that.to do m.tech at first u have to do b.tech then u can do m.tech.
according to my knowledge there is a way to come directly b.tech from b.se .for that u have to give a entrance exam.then u can do m.tech.

Yes, you can apply for M.Tech but there is entrance exam you have to go through that exam conducted by the institutes like IIT,TIFR.

You can apply for the M. Tech program after your bachelor course. To pursue your M. Tech in Biotech you need to finish your M. Sc in the same.
