Can we do Fashion Design or Hotel Management as a Polytechnic course? I'm a Commerce background student. So, am I eligible for both? Are these courses available as a Polytechnic course?

1. The basic academic qualification required for Fashion Designing and Hotel Management course is that candidate should have done 12th from a recognized board in any stream.

2. It clearly means that commerce stream candidates are eligible for both courses.

You can apply for NIFT exam for B.Des and IIHM entrance exam for Hotel Management.

Fashion Designing and Hotel Management course can be done as a polytechnic course.
You can pursue diploma in Hotel Management or Fashion Designing.

If you are in senior secondary board then it would be better for you to apply for Undergraduate courses in fashion designing or Hotel Management. You can apply for NIFT exam for B.Des course.

There are diploma course available in Fashion Designing as well as Hotel Management course. You are a commerce student of 12th then you should apply for undergraduate course entrance examination.
