The criteria to complete M.SC is as follows
One must have completed B.SC in any science stream in order to go for M.SC which is a three course.
M.SC stands for Master of Science and is a Post Graduate Degree in Science stream subjects after completing B.SC,which is again a Graduate Degree in Science stream subjects.
After completing B.SC in any Science subjects one can apply for two year M.SC course in the same subject.

Now as you have completed B.Tech then you are eligible to apply for M.SC but M.Tech after B.Tech is a Post Graduation in technological education, whereas M.SC after B.Tech is non-technological education.
As you know there is more importance of technological education in todays World compare to non-technological education, and has better future prospects.
