I have completed Diploma in EEE with 85%. Can I get admission in B.Tech in EEE (lateral entry)? Is there any entrance required for admission through lateral entry route?

There is an entrance examination conducted by state technical university for admission in 2nd year of Bachelor of Technology directly called Lateral Entry Entrance Test.

The full form of LEET is Lateral Entry Entrance Test. The eligibility criteria for LEET examination:

1. You must have done Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university.

2. Minimum of 60% marks in Diploma is necessary.

You can apply for LEET exam of your state as you have secured 85% marks in Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
