Can we get job in nationalized banks on the basis of BA in Banking?
Hi, I have completed my BA degree with specialization in Banking. So, now can I get job in government or nationalized banks in India? Do I need to appear for any entrance? What about SBI PO and Clerk entrance examination?

To get recruitment in nationalised bank as Clerk or as Probationary Officer, you have to appear and qualify in examination conducted by IBPS and SBI.
The required minimum educational qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit varies with examination. Examination will be conducted in various stages, so you can appear and qualify in the examination for final selection. For more information about examination visit at www.ibps.in or www.sbi.co.in. |

If you have completed graduation, then you can apply for three types of banking jobs in the government sector by clearing the IBPS exam.
These are:- Clerk / Office Assistant Probationary Officers Specialist Officers. |
