Hi, I am in Class 12, opted PCM. I want to know about career in Automobile Designing.

Automobile Designing is a highly rewarding career in the present time. In order to get in to a job in automobile designing, you must pursue bachelor degree in automobile engineering or other equivalent courses. You must pass engineering entrance test to get in to the course. The job of automobile designing basically comprises the design of whole or part of automobiles. The design is carried out with the help of specialized software tools. The job offers adequate career growth along with lucrative salary packages.

Automobile designing is one of those courses which require the talent of creativity.

Though it is not very popular in India and its neighboring countries, you would find quality Automobile Engineering is European and American countries.


Since India is not very firmly established in the Automobile industry, so the scope of this course here is very limited.


So taking up automobile engineering as a career right after passing Class 12th would not be less than risk.

You may instead take up Mechanical Engineering and then find scope in that. Mechanical is somewhat similar, but has got better scope and vast range of opportunities as compared to the Automobile Designing.


It basically comprises of designing Automobile engines, their outer body, looks, paints, decals, spoilers etc..


If you want, you may take this risk, but I would not recommend to take this up as its a very peak time in your life, and graduation is usually only once.

Think and then decide.

b-teck in the automobile engineering line . after the b-tech in automobile

engineering the various company is offered the job with the good salary packages .

and you must chose the mechanical engineering

after the mechanical engineering the good feature .

nession automobile

hero motocopo

swift etc....
