Is it compulsory to do MVA after BCA?

I have completed my BCA and now wanted to do a Master degree as well. All my friends are telling to go for MCA. However, I do not wish to do MCA. Is it compulsory to do MCA after BCA? Can't I choose any other option? Which option in Masters will be better for me?
