What is the procedure of correction of Date of Birth on SSC certificate in Maharashtra? To whom and how to apply for it? Is there any charges also? Will my current certificate remain valid if I get the corrected certificate?

Correction procedure of date of birth on SSC certificate of Maharashtra Board:-

You can approach the SSC board authorities with an application to correct the date of birth on the said certificate. Attached with the application a duly attested affidavit in support of the contents of the application. Also attached a certified copy of your birth certificate.

To get correction in the certificate issued by the board, you have to visit the board regional office.

So, you will get correction only from board office. You need to submit the required documents which justify the claim ( error ).

Correction procedure of DOB on SSC certificate:


Go to your school where you studied and check your name in class register.

Your name is correct in class register, request your principal for name correction.
Collect xerox copy of register.

Go to the SSC board directly of Maharashtra board and talk them in person.

The department will not issue new board certificate to you but you can only get e-certificate.

To correct your date of birth on SSC certificate of Maharashtra Board, you have to go to your school and talk with your teachers regarding this and write an application to the principal regarding correction of name on your certificate and submit it personally.
After collecting the required documents go to the board personally and submit them.
Further they will guide you the exact procedure and for this they may ask for fees.

Sir my date of birth is wrong mentioned in school record but I have birth certificate there is correct date of birth so how to change in SSC certificate please help.
