How much it worth doing MBA frm distance learning as now a days more & more institute were coming ,is they are as good as full time or it just a matter of having certificate frm institute .Is students are serious in studying or not.
my question is at this time where there is job scarcity and slow down in job market .[SIZE="4"]Doing MBA frm distant learning is waste of money or not?[/SIZE]

when compared to regular mba correspondence mba is definitely an waste of money because the regular mba is something else

this is a question for satyavani that if MBA correspondence/ distance learning is a total waste of time then why did MBA insitutes like SYMBIOSIS and IGNOU are gaining importance day by day, even m going to pursue MBA very soon and busy in my training and dont have time for MBA regular so if i do MBA correspondence then is it waste?

regular mba program is preferred over distance learning.....distance learning is for those guys who have a current job and want to do mba while doing the job.......it is generally preferred for promotional activity.........so go for regular one only if you are a student and want to make the best use of your mba course

Regular mba is more preferable in many places than correspondence mba so it is better you do the regular mba from a recognised university.

well regular mba has more vale then correspondence mba,correspondence mba is fro thoes who does not have time due to their job and have a hectic schedule,if you wanna do mba then do regular .

full time mba is more valueable than corresponding mba ok

full time mba is better only if you r not working .......
during job you can also opt for correspondence course from symbiosis or icfai these are reputed ones

no corresponding courses doesent give you surity about your loyality towards the course and in regular class course you are suppose t o do it with time so it will be beter for you to go for regular classes infact teacherstudent interaction is also a an important factor to be cosidered .

however if you cant go for regilar classes be loyal and sincere to your correspondence

both ahve their own importance,you can not neglet one due to other.
in really the regular mba course is the best,
but for the person which is already in job,and he wants to do mba then for that person corrospondance mba is the best option,

On the basis of certificate ,
correspondence and full time MBA are equivalent .
but practically
full time MBA is more beneficial than corresponding MBA .
Because in full time M B A direct interaction is possible all time to expert
industrialist,educationalist and at same time of student which explore more your knowledge and personalty ....

i think mba importance is increase when, if you are doing mba from regular. because you have to gain information of this field or you can get a confidence when you perform in seminar. so regular mba has great importance than correspondence mba.

i think regular mba is better than correspondence. regular course have its own importance.

regualr mba is much better than correspondence.....if yu are perform a job then correspondence mba is better........otherwise go for regular mba.

i would like to help you friend that as there is lots of difference in doing a program from regular or by correspondence and always full time would be a littl e better than correspondence
but mba by coorrespondence is really valuable if you do it with another beneficial regular course or job

Yes....you are partially right....But the same MBA in Correspondence speaks a lot in foreign countries compared to India. provided it is from Reputed College... Most of them using that tactics nowadays and getting certificate and going abroad and settling their life. But in India, most of them who have completed Regular MBA are searching for job still. So, if you are planning to go abroad, you can do....!!!!!

correspondance mba will not help you in getting jobs because there are no campus placements as in regular mba. Also the study in distance learning is not of the standard as provided in mba colleges. So, correspondence mba will be a waste of money.

be straight and think of you are taking admission in a regular mba you need to go for regular classes and that demands a good attitude and skills in a person that are evaluated properly in a regular mba course

but if you go for a corresspondence mba that means you need to go only a few weekend clases and you need to prepare by your self and you will get a study from books and the study material so it would always be inferior to that of the regular one .

but it would be a very good choice if you go for a corres . with a good job
that will enhance your scope in both your job and education

Corresponding MBA as Valuable as full time MBA.

But practically not. Companies give more weightage

to full time MBA than corresponding MBA .

Hi Guys, I am currently working in a private IT-sector. I have decided to do MBA by Distance Education but i have a doubt whether it would be accepted by IT-sectors. can i get any job relevant to it if i migrate to other private IT-sectors???

Always remember the following sequence

- Full time MBA
- Executive MBA
- Part time MBA
- Corresponding MBA

Full time MBA is the most effective and Corresponding MBA is the list effective.

If you cant leave your job, then you don't have any option but in that case too you should do correspondence MBA from top MBA institute as it would add value to you CV
