Is counter sign necessary from changing from GSEB to CBSE?


My son recently took admission in 2nd std which is cbse board before that he was in gseb board 1st std. So we are in the same state and is it necessary to have counter sign of DO in leaving certificate which I took from 1st std gseb board ?

Yes, counter sign is mandatory from changing GSEB to CBSE. To get counter sign from BEO (if it is a school), office location varies from district to district. To get more details regarding this, you can check out it on Google.
