I have completed my Intermediate i.e., my 12th board examination. I want to become an Air Plane Pilot. So, which course I need to study for this? Please, provide full details of such courses.

To become Airplane Pilot or Commercial Pilot in India, you need to pursue Pilot Training courses in anyone of the following colleges.

• All India Institute of Aeronautics, (AIIA), Dehradun
• Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy, Secunderabad
• Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics, Ahmedabad
• Government Flying Training School, Bangalore
• Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, Bareilly
• West Bengal Flying Training Institute, Kolkata
• Government Aviation Training Institute, Bhubaneswar
• Coimbatore Flying Club, Coimbatore
• Indian Aviation Academy, Mumbai
• Co-operative Flying Club Ltd, Jamshedpur

To be eligible for getting admission into such institutes, you must have passed 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics) with at least 50% marks.

Also, you will have to qualify entrance tests containing.

• Written Exam (contains General Knowledge, Maths, English)
• Interview
• Mental Balance, Situation Handling, Medical Test

Your age to become Commercial Pilot must be at least 18 years.
