I am in 11 science (PCMB) class and wanted to become a DRM officer what course I should do for that after my 12th? I am very specific on my choice, so can you please suggest me the best way to reach my goal. Awaiting for your valuable response.

If you want to become DRM(Divisional Railway Manager) then you have to first complete your bachelors then apply for railway recruitment exam because there is no direct recruitment for DRM post candidates are shortlisted from existing A grade officers in railway services. Here below are different recruitment exams for Indian railway where you can join as A grade officer:-

1). CSE(Civil Services Exam):- Civil services exam is carried out by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) through which you can apply for below given railway services as A grade officer:-

:- Indian Railways Account Services.

:- Indian Railway Traffic Services.

:- Indian Railway Protection Force(RPF).

:- Indian Railway Personnel Services.

2). CESE(Combined Engineering Services Exam):- Combined engineering services exam is carried out by UPSC to recruit deserving candidate in railway as A grade officer services as follows:-

:- Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineer.

:- Indian Railway Services of Mechanical Engineering.

:- Indian Railway Stores Services.

:- Indian Railways Service Engineer.

Eligibility Required To Apply For These Exams In Railway:-

>> Age limit to apply for these exams is 21 to 30 years. Relaxation in age limit for candidates of reserve categories as per government rules.

>> Minimum qualification required to apply for exam is Bachelors from government recognized institute.(Bachelors of Engineering is preferred for railway engineering services).

>> Applying candidate must be Indian citizen.

So complete your bachelors then apply for recruitment exam in railway and get join to Indian railway services to become DRM.
