Re: Criteria for admission in BE Petroleum Engineering
For admission to any engineering course the candidate should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with at least 60% marks. You have to appear for entrance exam if you wish to get admission in top Colleges. Some private institutions give admission without entrance exam and consider the marks of +2.

Re: Criteria for admission in BE Petroleum Engineering
Hello,
The eligibility criteria will be same for all the branches in B.Tech. For getting admission into the engineering you have to appear for the joint entrance examination in which you have to score good for getting good college/universities. For petroleum engineering the best college will be Pandit deendayal petroleum university(pdpu). So you have to score well in join entrance examination for getting admission in this college. Good luck!!!! |

Re: Criteria for admission in BE Petroleum Engineering
You must have passed your 12th with minimum percentage depending on the entrance exam your chosing.
There are many colleges in india who take admission on the basis of 12th merit and there are some who take on the basis of entrance test.the top ones take through the entrance test like IIT JEE and AIEEE. You must clear these test with a good rank. A rank under 40,000 is sufficient to get admission in most of the colleges with AIEEE. Howver if you want a better college like ISMU Dhanbad or PDPU you must get good ranks |
