sir, please tell me the cutoffs of NTPC ,POWER GRID & PERCENTAGE OF CUTOFF IN GENERAL PSU'S.

Dear friend this is totally depend on no. of candidates how much candidates is seated and how much post is vacant .........

then they can see how much students clear this exam and how much seat is required then they can decide what should be cut-off ..........

it is totally depend on no. of students because how much students written exam clear........

but cut-off will be very high because there is seat limited..........................

One should get at 50% marks...in any PSUs exam

40 to 45 % IN POWER GRID AROUND 50(20 NON TECH 30 TECH ) IN NTPC

NTPC cut off will be around 65 Questions for Mechanical General...

friend, the cut-offs for psu exams like that of ntpc.pgcil etc. varies every yr so there is no predefined cut-off in these exams but yes the general cut-off hovers around 45-55% i.e to get a call for interview u have to answer correctly almost half of the total questions.

what is the normal cutoff for nontechnical & technical part in a psu .I know it varies but roughly what should be number of correct answer in each part of the exam.

iam gate qualified having 63% percentile score in gate 2013. my 10 th mark is 75% and 12th is 58.6% and Btech is 80.5%.ia am reding in very ordinary engg collge having almost 0% core placement.plz tell will i get call letter from BHEL and if i say all correct answer then will they select me as i heard that below 85% aggregate in Btech they reject...? plz reply urgent.
