I want to know the Online exam date of ICAI-CPT exam. and i also dont know how to register for it

hi!

The closing Date for Registration for Online CPT Exam scheduled for 25/26 October 2010 was till 17.30 hours (IST) of 9th October, 2010 (or till the seats are full, whichever is earlier).

In order to register for ICAI online CPT exam, follow these steps:

1. create your account at http://cptonline.icai.org/
2. Login with the username and password you receive in your email ID. Fill up the Online Application form carefully and Pay the Fees Online
3. Take printout of the application form on A4 size paper in portrait orientation
4. Paste the Photograph, Sign the form
5. Send the printout of the form by SpeedPost/Registered Post to:

ICAI Bhawan,
Indraprastha Marg
New Delhi - 110 002

• Commencement of Examination from: June 1st week, 2011

• Last date for examination: Mid June, 2011

• Commencement of sale of Application Forms: February End, 2011

• Last date for submission of completed application form: March 3rd week, 2011

2)Common Proficiency Test CPT Exam for the year December 2010, conducted in following modes :

Paper Pencil Mode of Examination – Sunday, the 19th December, 2010
I. Common Proficiency Test (Paper-Pencil Mode)

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Paper-Pencil mode Examination will be held on Sunday, the 19th December, 2010 in accordance with the revised scheme of education, training and examination of the Chartered Accountancy Course.

First Session (i.e. Morning Session) 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws
Second Session (i.e. Afternoon Session) 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude

As i know the dates for ICAI CPT online exam are not released yet the tentative dates are :-
Commencement of sale of Application Forms: February End, 2011
Last date for submission of completed application form: March 3rd
Commencement of Examination from: June 1st week, 2011
Last date for examination: Mid June, 2011

Hi guys,

CPT online exams could be during in the month of march or april,
Please be watchful with the icai official website :-)

Start preparing for the exam from now, dont waste the time.
Dont leave the CPT untill you clear the exam.
